The MissFIT Concept:
The most important thing you need to know about me is that I believe in you. I not only want to see you succeed in whatever physical endeavors you may choose, but I want to walk beside you on your journey. Whether it is cheering you on, or giving you that swift kick in the pants to get you started (or keep you going), I promise that I will never give up on you.
I am Kayla. I am a work in progress, both physically and psychologically (aren’t we all?) and I have my own ups and downs when it comes to performance, mental fortitude, and motivation, just like everyone else. I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Pn Certified Sports Nutrition Coach with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I have a deep, unrelenting passion for health and fitness. Something that I believe sets me apart from other personal trainers is that I will never claim to know something I don’t; and on the flip-side of that coin, I will also never hoard information that I think I can capitalize on. If I do not know the answer to your question, I will do everything in my power to find it, and if I do know the answer, I will gladly provide it.
One thing I know for sure is that we are always stronger together. It has been my experience that we will let ourselves down long before we will let someone else down (and that is, after all, our entire purpose for being here right? to help each other?) The concepts of friendship, community and accountability are foundational to any human goal; the unconditional support of others is often the determining factor between success or failure in any of our life’s ambitions. When it comes to health and fitness, it has been relentlessly researched and repeatedly proven that we are more likely to stick to our goals if we have even just one other person to hold us accountable. It would be my honor to act as both your guide and your companion along the journey to your FIT life!
